Shipping Policy
1. Shipping Times and Methods:
- We partner with multiple suppliers, each with its own shipping timelines and methods. Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days, but shipping times may vary based on the supplier and the destination.
- Standard shipping typically takes 5-10 business days so long as the product is not on back order.
2. Shipping Costs:
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. They are based on each supplier's rates and are dependent upon weight, dimensions, and destination of the order.
- Free shipping is available on most products, depending on the product and supplier.
3. International Shipping:
- We currently only ship to the 48 contiguous states of the USA (not Alaska or Hawaii).
4. Order Tracking:
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to track your order’s progress.
5. Delays and Issues:
- While we strive to ensure timely delivery, there may be occasional delays due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or carrier issues. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such cases.
Returns Policy
1. Return Eligibility:
- Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.
- If unsatisfied with your product, general return requests must be made within 30 days of the order date.
- Shipping damage and defective products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of shipment (not including weekends and holidays).
- Certain items, such as perishable goods, personalized products, and clearance items, are not eligible for return.
- Black Dog LED and Alien Hydro products limit returns to just one light/system/part per customer.
2. Return Process:
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@homesteadstop.com with your order number and reason for the return. Including any helpful pictures could help expedite the process.
- We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return the item.
- Customers are responsible for paying shipping, handling, and restocking fees for items returned.
3. Return Shipping Costs:
- When sending in a product for return or repair—all shipping fees, shipping insurance costs, and shipping damage is the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Outbound shipping costs will not be refunded. Orders that received discounted or free shipping will be charged for initial shipping cost.
4. Refunds and Exchanges:
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund or exchange as quickly as possible with each of the relevant suppliers.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
- Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the item is not available, we will issue a refund.
5. Cancellations:
- Cancellations are only offered in the event that your item has not yet shipped. If your product has not yet shipped, it can be cancelled at no charge. After 30 days from original purchase date, all sales are final.
6. Supplier-Specific Policies:
- Due to our diverse range of suppliers, some products may have specific return policies like restocking fees. Please review the product description and supplier’s return policy before making a purchase.
